What they wanted Evolok Ltd needed to urgently bring on board an Angel Investor. They needed a compelling piece of direct marketing to support a business pitch to ask the Angel Investor to provide funds and resources so they could scale up, extend their reach and bid for work with larger multinational clients. 

What we didCopy That Sells responded quickly to the brief. We interviewed the MD. We researched the background of the Angel Investor and condensed company information and accounts into a short compelling business case combining hard facts with a strong emotional hook as to why now was an essential time to invest.

How it helped themFor a relatively small cost and in exceptionally tight timescales, the business case for the Angel pitch was successful. In fact, it succeeded in securing two Angel Investors and funds of £750k. Evolok was able to successfully scale up and grow because it had the resources to build its marketing team and secure some global partnerships

Graystone Strategy Ltd

What they wanted
This Strategic Consultancy provides business strategy advice to all sizes of companies in the retail, media, technology and telecoms sector. They asked Copy That Sells, as an Associate, to scope, create and deliver project plans and marketing content services for a new Learning & Development client they had recently taken on.

 

What we didCopy That Sells scoped and created a quarterly project plan for content marketing services for the Strategic Consultancy’s client. We then delivered a strategic whitepaper, decision matrix, contact strategy and email communications to help generate business leads on social media.

The client was impressed the Whitepaper immediately generated substantially more comments, likes and shares than previous whitepapers as well as interactions with the right stakeholders. We also wrote blogs, vision and mission statements for  this client.

What they wanted Karen Bennett Photography, specialising in pet and family photography, wanted to create a new brand identity for her company. She asked Copy That Sells to create compelling content to differentiate her business and promote her fun, relaxing photographic experiences to prospective clients. She needed copy to support her application for her Licentiate from the Masters Photographers Association, blogs and feature articles

The founders asked Copy That Sells to write them a refreshed brand story which reflected their caring customer ethos, focused around choice, convenience and transparency. They needed content for their new website and social media.
What we did Copy That Sells wrote a comprehensive brand story which teased out the clients’ unique selling points to help them stand out from the competition. We wrote an elevator pitch which could be used for their social media and detailed content for their website ‘About’ and ‘Services’ web pages, together with keywords to help with their SEO.
